Judaism and Islam
There are many
interesting things that one discovers when comparing Christianity with Judaism
and Islam. It is interesting to see that monotheism is the primary value in
both Judaism and Islam. Historically, during the process of establishment of
Christianity, triune God had long been obscure and controversial. In the meantime, it seems that Islam had
taken advantage of chaotic environment regarding polytheism to expand its
religion. The most primary distinction of all three religions is the different
interpretation of Jesus, who is the most supreme essential in Christianity.
Furthermore,
although it is widely known that there is a deeply rooted conflict between Jews
and Gentiles which was nurtured by the initial development of Christianity,
there is still an ongoing hostility between these two groups. However, it is
also to be acknowledged that Jewish people should not be blamed or held
responsible for the death of Jesus. As Apostle Paul affirmed in the book of
Romans, the crucifixion of Jesus is an unfathomable wonder which God used to
fulfill His purposes. Therefore, Christians should support Israel.
In
addition, the Jews do not accept Jesus as the Messiah but are still waiting for
the advent of Messiah. In Islam Jesus is
considered as one of the prophets, who are less respected than Mohammad.
Lastly, the
Qur’an provides the theoretical foundation for harassing women.
Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age, Witchcraft,
Satanism, Unification Church and Scientology
In
reading Hinduism and Buddhism, it is interesting to see that Buddhism
indoctrinates Karma. This seems to reveal a strong influence by Hinduism. Even
if two different religions share the idea that a life exists in circulation of the
different forms, Buddhism is implicitly atheistic in that it seems to imply the
absence of God, whereas Hinduism recognizes significant numbers of gods.
Especially, it seems to me that the trinity of goddesses in Hinduism has somewhat
a connection to universalism which promotes the unity of all religions as ways
for salvation. When it comes to Buddhism, it seems to me that numbers of
prostrations and prayers strengthen human will and self-centeredness. In other
words, it can be explained that atheism is to be supported by celibacies and
humanism. In addition to this, under the concept of salvation or credit through
personal will and achievement, there is no room for concept of salvation
through grace to be established its ground in Buddhism. Although celibacy and
disciplinary behaviors are required of Christians for the achievement of
sanctification, it seems that these can be dangerous if initiated by the
absence of grace of God. It can result in the fortification of fallen
proclivity into self-centeredness and deeply-rooted humanism.
Here
at this point, it is evident that the advent of New Age is an upgraded
version-up of Buddhism. The common
element that is shared between the two is that both are focused on the
individual and the fulfilment of personal desires. This is a result of there is
no God to focus on so it logically follows that the focus would be on the self.
The one unique features of the New Age is the concept of channeling through
spirits. This element of channeling spirits is commonly observed in the
formation of such religions as Witchcraft, Satanism, Unification Church and
Scientology. It is very interesting to see that occult rituals were influential
in the formation of many spin-off religions related to the ones above. From the
Christian perspective, this channeling of spirits is interaction with evil
spirits.
In
particular, comments on the book named “the secret” were a reminder of past
interpretations. Honestly, under careful analysis, the message of the book was
considered as related to the positive thinking and self-motivation. However, through
the enlightenment earned from the reading of New Age section, previous
interpretations were corrected. It becomes evident that the prosperity gospel is
an upgraded version-up of New Age. In this context, there are two primary
strategies evil spirits prefer to use. First one is to focus only one side
without contemplating on the other side. For example, in Christianity, biblical
scriptures talk about all kinds of sufferings and explain amazing blessings. At
times, evil spirits subtly and gradually, try to manipulate people into neglecting
or overlooking the suffering and instead focus on the prosperity. What is
talked about in the book called “the secret” happens in Christian environment.
Secondly,
evil spirits are very good at hideout of their identities and all kinds of
deceptions. It presumably makes sense that evil spirits pretend to become
someone who passed away. The messages earned through the channelling with
spirits have been accepted inside of Unification church. Generally speaking, it is widely known in
Korea that Unification church had expanded its empire by running many
businesses. And the successful establishment of “Divine principle” and
charismatic aura of Sun Myung Moon is widely known among people. But, the
interaction with spirits, presumably mimicking the voice of dead person or

formation for the future direction of Unification church. Furthermore, it is

higher figure than Jesus.
Roman Catholics
When it comes to
Roman Catholic, it is saddening to know that pope is considered as “sinless”.
And respecting the Saint Peter and Mother Mary at the extreme level is
interpreted as the denial of Jesus’ incarnation, degradation of Jesus’ status
and idol worshiping. Personally, it is shocking to read regarding Alberto
Rivera. Honestly, the assumptions and conspiracies he indicated, in my analysis,
seemed to be plausible when reading the cartoon book based on his personal
experiences and confession. It is probable that I need to educate myself with
right corrections and healthy methodology to approach to truths.
Conclusion
It
is believed that there are very essential components in sustaining
Christianity. Among them are: clear-cut interpretation of biblical scriptures,
the supremacy of Jesus, tacit awareness of wonders our intellectual realm
cannot cover and walking with Holy Spirit. Interestingly speaking, when many
people challenge these core values, it seems that the advents of many religions
come into existence.
For
example, regarding the wonder is the acceptance of triune God. Sometimes, unexplainable miracle or
circumstances compel people to accept the triune God without intellectual
agreement. It is interpreted that when something is established in the unknown
territory our intellectual horizon can never reach, we become believers of
triune God. That is to say, when being chaotic in this mechanism, it
becomes possible for us to see the variations of truthful Christianity, which
deviate people into unexpected destination. The conflict between monotheism and
polytheism results in the obliteration of supremacy for Jesus. In my analysis,
as long as the emphasis of Jesus is successfully blocked and ignored, it is
very likely that deceptive skills and lies of demons successfully serve their
purposes from the perspective of Satan.
In addition,
even in the Christian context, the biblical scriptures can be interpreted to
disrespect the authority and supremacy of Jesus. For example, Pauline scripture
is manipulated to think that God is more inclined with salvation of all the
humans. Some theologians tried to negate the presence of hell by proclaiming
some of Pauline scriptures, for God want to save all people. These historical
efforts contrast with description of hell from Jesus. By establishing
confusions in the hierarchy, there had long been many heretical efforts inside
of Christianity. Likewise, worshiping Mother Mary and theological
misinterpretation of Peter’s confession in New Testament seem to be enough to
destroy the emphasis of Jesus. After all, it seems that Judaism, Islam and
Catholics established their religious turfs by diluting the supremacy of Jesus
with many methods.
In Christianity,
it is highly important to live a life directed by Holy Spirit. Otherwise, people
are more inclined to be directed by evil spirits. The difficulty is that
discerning between spirits is not an easy task. Even in the Christian context,
the discernment of spirits is one of primary issues, for evil spirits are capable
at using deceptive techniques to masquerading themselves. Channeling through
spirits plays a major role in many spin offs religions of New Age which seems
to contradict the presence of Holy Spirit. It seems that when there is a
failure of discerning spirits in the spiritual realm, where evil spirits and
Holy Spirit cohabitate, there are many possibilities for people to establish
their own religions. Evil spirits lead people to fulfill sinful desires of
fallen nature in human beings.
Finally,
atheism can be a solid ground for false beliefs. Especially, in observance of
Buddhism, certain celibacy and disciplinary training strengthen
self-centeredness. Even if certain celibacy and discipline are highly required
for growth, this solitary component cannot shape people into accepting the
concept of grace.
In
the essential components in Christianity, it seems that demons distorted them in
order to create plausible tools to lead as many people as Satan can to the
eternal death. Furthermore, from the perspective of spiritual warfare, it seems
that demons know how to break the mixture of balanced essential components. Based
on all the analytical enlightenments from many religions, all these
understandings such as the grace and power of God, exact interpretation of
biblical scriptures, the supremacy of Jesus and walk with Holy Spirit are to be
highly respected and well conjured up by the reflection of extracting the most
influential element of each religion.
At
this point, it is worthwhile to know how smart demons are. When examining the criminals, the higher
level of criminal they are, the better they deceive people and hide their
identity. For example, the criminal at the top level never does their

evil, they do lots of good to others. Think about the king of cocaine in

donations of huge amount money to orphanage, poverty-stricken town and so on.
However, all the activities they do are only to hide, lie, and deceive people
so that they can do such a great evils. And at the critical moment, they cause
huge numbers of people to die at war and destroy their lives at certain
environment financially and emotionally.
Consequently,
their ultimate aim of Satan is to barricade people from having access to the
salvation and the everlasting truth. As long as demons can achieve their
ultimate goals, either sporadic or occasional good deeds are acceptable. Even
either believing God or knowing God is fine as long as Jesus is successfully
blocked. Although common denominators in other religions are shared with
Christianity, a minimal confusion of the very essential component in sustaining
the everlasting truth seems to prohibit people from earning salvation. Even if
it could be controversial and there is no evident proof or documents, it can be
speculated that many types of religions were the by-products of Christian
heretics or Christian cults after all these deceptions and manipulations of
demons partly infiltrated into the essential cores of Christianity.
There
are significant numbers of religions in addition to the main world religions outlined
in the textbook. However, no matter what the religions they are, Satan had
historically established many deceptive tools named religions by taking
advantage and distorting one characteristic
essential component in sustaining the absolute truth. In the past, it was heard
that only minimal 2 or 3 percent difference of gene can cause each gene to
either become chimpanzee or human being. As long as Satan successfully
manipulates people to end up spending their eternity at the wrong place, he
will be satisfied with it. And the fulfillment of ultimate mission seems to be
initiated by the distortion of the very essential components in reaching the
truth.
